the new DJI Neo ? anyone actually flying one or just watching youtube reviews

been seeing a lot of content about the Neo lately and im genuinely curious if its as capable as people are saying or if its one of those things thats impressive on paper but feels toy-ish when you actually get it in your hands. the size is obviously the big selling point but i wonder how much it gives up in wind and image quality compared to the mini 4 pro which i already have

i dont really need another drone but you know how it is. mostly interested for situations where i want something super packable and low-key, like hiking trips where pulling out a full setup feels like overkill. curious if anyone has actually used one in real conditions not just calm sunny days in a parking lot

got one about three weeks ago, flew it on a camping trip in the smokies. honestly its impressive for what it is but yeah it does not like wind. anything above like 10-12mph and it starts really struggling to hold position and the footage gets noticeably shakier. indoors or calm days its genuinely fun though and the autonomous tracking stuff works better than i expected. for hiking its fine if you plan your shots and dont rely on it when theres a breeze coming through

the image quality gap between it and the mini 4 pro is real, dont let the marketing fool you. its a smaller sensor and you can see it in anything shot in less than ideal light. that said i think people comparing them are kind of missing the point, theyre not really competeing for the same use case. the Neo is for when you wouldnt have brought a drone at all, not as a replacement for what you already have
