so ive been flying for about a year now mostly in calm conditions and i feel pretty solid in those. but anytime there's more than like 10-12mph wind i get really sketchy and start making dumb inputs. i know the obvious answer is just fly in wind more but i feel like im not actually learning anything useful, just white-knuckling it until i land safely and calling it a day.
is there like a structured way to build wind tolerance or is it really just accumulated hours? i fly a 5inch freestyle build mostly and sometimes my cinewhoop when i want smoother stuff. feels completely different in wind between the two obviously. the cinewhoop is basically a kite at anything over 8mph lol
any drills or approaches that actually helped you guys get comfortable? or am i overthinking it and should just go fly in wind more
