so this has been driving me nuts for about two weeks now. i have a mavic 3 and ive been getting these random disconnects mid flight, not full signal loss but the video feed cuts out for like 2-3 seconds and then comes back. happens maybe once or twice per flight and its not consistent enough for me to figure out whats causing it.

at first i thought it was interference from the area i fly at (theres a cell tower maybe half a mile away) but ive had the same thing happen at two completely different spots now so im starting to think its the controller or maybe the aircraft itself. the signal bars usually look fine when it happens which is what confuses me the most. RC Pro controller by the way, running the latest firmware.

anyone dealt with this? does it show up in the flight logs as a warning or anything i can check after the fact

check your flight logs in DJI fly, go to the sync section and pull the full log for that flight. there should be signal strength data in there, you can actually see if the RSSI was dropping even if the on screen indicator was showing fine. the visual signal bar in the app is kind of averaged and can lag behind what's actually happening.

also worth checking if the RC Pro antennas are positioned correctly. i know it sounds basic but a lot of people fly with them pointed straight up which is actually not optimal for most scenarios. they should be angled so the flat face is pointing toward the aircraft, not the edge. made a noticeable difference for me in certain environments.

had something similar last year and it turned out to be a loose USB connection inside the controller, nothing i could fix myself but DJI support replaced it. probably not your issue but worth mentioning that it isnt always interference related
