So ive been flying the original Avata for about a year and a half now, mostly indoor stuff and some light outdoor proximity flying. I genuinely love the thing, it clicks with how I fly and the goggles 2 setup just works. But ever since the Avata 2 dropped I keep going back and forth in my head about whether to sell the original and upgrade or just hold onto what I have.
The obstacle avoidance on the 2 is supposedly way better and the image quality bump looks real from the footage ive seen. But I dunno, when I was watching comparison videos I couldnt always tell a massive difference in actual flying footage, maybe that's just YouTube compression doing its thing. The thing that actually has me tempted more than anything is the battery life improvement because the original Avata's runtime was just kinda whatever, especially in any kind of wind.
Anyone here made the jump from one to the other? Like is it actually a noticeable difference day to day or is this just me wanting new stuff for no good reason
