ok so ive been lurking here for ages and finally worked up the nerve to share something. this is from a local park near me, flew my mini 3 for the first time without just doing test hovers in my backyard. its only like 90 seconds long. i know the movements are pretty jerky in places, i think i was overcorrecting with the sticks a lot. and there's one bit where the horizon is obviously tilted and i dont know if that happened while i was flying or if i introduced it when i was cutting the clips together.

anyway be honest i can take it, i want to actually get better not just hear nice things

the horizon tilt thing, check your gimbal calibration before your next flight. mine was doing the same thing and i just assumed it was my editing but it was actually the gimbal being slightly off. takes two minutes to fix in the app

movement looked fine for 8 months in honestly. the main thing i noticed is your speed was inconsistent, like the drone would slow down and speed up awkwardly. try using the smoother expo settings if you havent, makes a big diffrence

looked at it, not bad at all for a first real flight outside the backyard. the shot over the pond was the best one imo. dont worry too much about perfect movements yet, just keep flying and it becomes muscle memory eventually. the fact that you're already thinking critically about what went wrong puts you ahead of a lot of people
