what case are you guys using for travel? mine cracked on last trip

so i finally caved and bought one of those hard shell pelican style cases for my mini 3 pro after the soft bag i was using got pretty banged up going through checked luggage. used it for the first time flying out to colorado last month and somehow one of the latches cracked, not even sure how because the thing is supposed to be indestructible. might have been the altitude pressure thing or maybe baggage handlers just yeet everything now

anyway im in the market for something new and wondering what everyone here is actually using day to day. i need it to fit the drone, 3-4 batteries, the rc-n1 controller, and ideally my nd filter set without having to repack everything every single time. bonus if it doesnt look like a camera case and attract attention at airports

also does anyone travel with landing pads in checked luggage? mine keeps rolling up weird and i feel like theres gotta be a better way to store it flat

ive been using a nanuk 925 for about two years now and honestly havent had a single issue with it. fits my air 2s setup with room to spare and the foam cutouts werent that hard to do myself with an exacto knife. the latches on nanuk are genuinely better than the pelican knockoffs ive tried, like there's a noticeable difference in how solid they feel

for the landing pad thing ? i just rolled mine around the foam insert core and it holds pretty flat. the bigger problem i had was the pad kept getting dusty and folded weird if i left it rolled too long. ended up just keeping it in a separate small drawstring bag inside the case and calling it a day

wait which pelican style case was it? like actual pelican or one of the third party ones because ive heard the off brand latches can be kinda hit or miss. genuine pelican cases have that warranty where they replace it no questions asked i think, might be worth looking into if it was an actual pelican
