Working on a 25-mile transmission line inspection project and trying to optimize our BVLOS flight planning. Current setup uses M300 RTK with H20T payload, but we're hitting battery swap logistics issues every 8-10 miles. Anyone have experience with automated charging stations for long corridor runs? Also curious about FAA Part 108 implications - will this streamline our waiver process once it's finalized?
Right now using 3 ground teams for battery swaps but it's burning budget fast. Considering tethered solutions for tower-specific work but need the range capability.
