updated to the latest firmware last night through the DJI fly app and now my APAS is just... gone? like the option is still there in the menu but it doesnt actually do anything. flew a test run this morning in the backyard and the thing nearly flew straight into my fence on a low pass, would not have done that before the update. hadnt changed anything else.

rolled back using the DJI assistant 2 on my laptop and it seemed to apply but the fly app keeps prompting me to update again and im not sure if the rollback actually worked or if it just thinks its on old firmware. anyone else seeing this after.0700 or is my unit just cursed. really dont want to send it in right now

yeah rollback through assistant 2 can be finnicky with the fly app because the app checks against DJIs servers not just the local firmware version so it'll keep nagging you even if the rollback worked. to verify the rollback actually took, go into about > aircraft firmware in the fly app and check the actual version string, if it shows the previous build number you're good and you can just ignore the update prompt for now.

havent personally seen the APAS issue on.0700 but i waited a week before updating for exactly this reason. gonna hold off a bit longer now, thanks for the heads up.

this is why i never update firmware the day it drops lol. had a similar thing happen on my air 2s like two years ago where an update messed with the RTH altitude and it took them like three weeks to push a fix. just wait it out, DJI usually patches stuff like this pretty fast when people report it through the app feedback button.
