not sure how to even describe this properly but basically when i arm and take off the drone kind of lurches slightly to the left before it stabilizes, like maybe half a meter. only lasts a second and then it's totally fine and flies perfectly the rest of the time. started happening maybe two weeks ago out of nowhere. nothing changed that i can think of, same location i always fly, didn't update the firmware recently or anything like that.

i calibrated the IMU and compass again and it still does it. props are fine, checked them. its not like dangerous but its definitely not normal and im starting to get anxious about flying it over anything i care about

had something similar on mine a while back. ended up being one of the motors that had a tiny bit of debris stuck in it ? not enough to cause a noticeable problem during flight but just enough to cause a stutter on spin-up. worth pulling the props off and just manually spinning each motor by hand and feeling for any roughness or inconsistency. also check if you can hear any difference in the tone of the motors when they spin up, one of mine sounded ever so slightly different before i found the issue. if its a motor thing Autel's customer support was actually pretty decent when i went through them, took a couple weeks but they sorted it.

could also just be a GPS thing depending on where exactly you're taking off. i've had my EVO do something vaguely similar in a spot where the GPS lock wasn't quite solid yet and it sort of drifted while it was figuring itself out. does it do it if you wait an extra minute or two after the GPS locks before taking off? probably not that but worth ruling out the easy stuff first before you start worrying about motors
