so ive been flying for about two years now mostly solo and honestly its getting kind of boring just doing the same parks by myself. saw some photos from a fly-in someone posted on reddit a while back and it looked like a really good time, bunch of people just hanging out flying together swapping tips etc. does anyone know if theres anything organized in like new england or upstate NY area coming up? doesnt have to be anything huge, even just a small group thing would be cool

there was a pretty decent one in vermont last august, like 15-20 people showed up, mix of fixed wing and quad guys. someone brought a giant gas powered plane and that thing was loud as hell lol. i heard theyre doing it again this year but havent seen any dates posted yet. your best bet is checking the local AMA club websites, a lot of these things dont get advertised anywhere else and you only find out about them if you already know someone

im in CT and same, been looking for something like this. found one facebook group for a club near hartford but it looks pretty dead, last post was like 8 months ago. might just try to organize something myself at some point tbh
