gimbal keeps drifting on one axis after firmware update ? anyone else?

so this has been driving me crazy for about two weeks now. i've got a Gremsy T3V3 mounted on my Inspire 2 (well technically a custom hex but same idea) and ever since i updated the gimbal firmware to the latest version the roll axis just slowly creeps. like it'll be perfectly level at startup and then over a 10 minute flight it drifts maybe 2-3 degrees. not a huge deal for some shots but when im doing any kind of horizontal pan for real estate stuff it's super noticeable in the final edit.

ive already tried recalibrating the IMU like four times, checked all the motor connections, and even swapped the camera plate thinking maybe something was loose. roll motor itself seems fine when i manually check the resistance. honestly at this point im wondering if the firmware update just broke something in the PID tuning because i dont remember changing anything else around that time.

anyone seen this or know if rolling back firmware is even possible on the T3 series? their support has been kind of slow to respond.

yeah the last two T3 firmware releases have been kind of a mess tbh. i had a similar issue on my Pixy U after an update ? different gimbal obviously but the symptom sounds identical. what worked for me was doing a full factory reset on the gimbal controller and then re-running the auto-tune sequence from scratch rather than just recalibrating. the update apparently overwrites some of the motor tuning parameters and the recalibration alone doesnt fix it. worth trying before you go down the rollback rabbit hole because i dont even think Gremsy officially supports rolling back on the T3 anymore.

not sure if this is related but i noticed with mine that if the payload weight is even slightly off from what the gimbal profile expects it'll do something similar. did you change anything about the camera setup recently, like add an ND filter or swap lenses? even a small weight difference forward or aft of the roll axis can make the motor work harder than the PID expects and you get that slow creep over time. probably not your issue if nothing changed but just throwing it out there.
