this has been bugging me for a while and i finally remembered to post about it. basically mid flight ill get this brief RC signal warning, maybe half a second, then it reconnects. happens maybe once or twice per flight, not every time but enough that its started to make me nervous especially when im over water.

im using the RC controller, not the phone, and its been doing this since pretty much when i got it. i updated the firmware when i first unboxed it and havent had any major issues otherwise. the footage is fine, it doesnt seem to actually lose control or anything, just that little blip. my friend has a Mavic Air 2 and says he never gets this but im not sure if thats relevant or if maybe my flying areas are just more congested with interference or something.

anyone else see this or should i be worried enough to send it in

pretty common from what i've seen on here and on the DJI forums tbh. a lot of the time its 2.4ghz interference especially if youre flying near residential areas, wifi routers, that kind of thing. the Mavic 3 RC can switch between O3 frequencies automatically but sometimes it stutters during that handoff. try switching your transmission frequency manually to 5.8ghz if youre flying somewhere more open and see if it changes anything.

also worth checking if the antennas on the RC are oriented properly relative to the drone ? i know it sounds obvious but ive seen people forget to adjust them when the drone is at different elevations and it does make a difference. if its still happening after all that then yeah maybe worth a chat with DJI support but i wouldnt panic over it yet.

had the exact same thing with mine for ages, turned out i had an old version of the RC firmware that wasnt fully compatible with the drone firmware after one of the updates. once i updated both at the same time through DJI Assistant 2 it basically stopped. might be worth checking they're both on the latest versions not just the drone side
