My EVO II keeps producing videos with a tilted horizon, even after multiple gimbal calibrations. It's driving me crazy! I've tried the usual troubleshooting - compass calibration, IMU calibration, different SD cards, etc.

The gimbal physically looks straight when I inspect it, but the footage always comes out with about a 2-3 degree tilt to the left. Has anyone dealt with this successfully? I'm wondering if it's a hardware defect or if there's some setting I'm missing.

Really don't want to send it back to Autel given their reputation for slow support turnaround times.

I don't have serious issue with the refurbished Evo, just the usual tilted background on the videos. The one we usually experience is the tilted. Unfortunately it seems pretty common with the EVO series - you might need to just live with it or fix it in post.

To fix the drone camera angle, you will need to recalibrate the drone on a horizontal plane to avoid horizontal alignment issues. However, when calibrating the drone, keep away from any metal and electronic equipment. Another way to change the angle of the drone's camera is to enable gridlines and adjust the gimbal roll.

Had the same problem and after 3 months of back and forth with support, they finally replaced mine. It's probably the cables inside the drone. They make this drone impossible for users to service, but luckily the good folks at Ebay selling spare parts provided some nice tips. The cables are very thin and very BRITTLE. Might be worth the RMA hassle.
