so ive been flying freestyle for about 8 months now and i can do power loops okay but they just feel... floaty? like the quad doesn't snap back when i'm coming out of the loop. i'm running a 5 inch with 2306 motors and my rates are pretty mid i guess. not sure if its a tune issue or just my stick inputs being bad. probably both lol

anyone else had this or know what to look for in betaflight to tighten that up? i've been messing with master multiplier but honestly i dont really know what im doing in there

yeah that floaty feeling coming out of power loops is almost always d term being too low or your p gains not being aggressive enough for the weight of your build. what props are you running? sometimes going from a 5 blade to a more standard 3 blade makes a huge difference in how snappy it feels. also check your filters, over filtering kills that crisp feel faster than anything

i had the exact same thing when i started. for me it was my rates honestly, i had expo set way too high and it was masking my inputs. lowering expo and bumping up center sensitivity made power loops feel way more intentional. the tune might be fine
