DaVinci or Premiere for drone footage, i keep going back and forth

ok this is probably a dumb question but im genuinely stuck and i feel like ive been in this loop for months. i shoot mostly d-log m on the mini 4 pro and i do color grade everything but my workflow is kind of a mess right now. started in premiere because i already knew it, then tried resolve because everyone said the color tools were better, which they are, but now i have projects split across both and its kind of a nightmare.

the thing that pushed me toward resolve was the color page obviously but i keep running into issues with the noise reduction being really slow on my machine (ryzen 7, rx 6700 xt) even with GPU acceleration turned on. premiere feels snappier but the lumetri color stuff just doesnt feel as good for d-log grading, like i always feel like im fighting it a bit. anyone settled on one or the other for drone footage specifically or is this just one of those forever debates

the noise reduction slowness in resolve is almost certainly your GPU not being fully supported for that specific effect ? AMD cards have had patchy support for the temporal NR for a while, its a known thing. try turning off the resolve FX noise reduction and use the motion effects page NR instead, or just do a rough cut with proxies and only apply NR on the final render. made a huge difference for me when i was on a 6600 xt before i upgraded.

for d-log specifically resolve just wins, the node system lets you do a proper technical grade before the creative stuff in a way that lumetri cant really match. i dont think this debate ever ends though, people get religious about their NLEs

honestly i just use capcut for quick stuff and resolve when i actually care about the grade. premiere feels like paying rent for software that keeps getting worse every update to me but i know thats not a popular opinion with people already in the adobe ecosystem
