so ive been flying my mini 3 pro for about 8 months now and wind is still the thing that messes with me the most. like i can do all the technical stuff fine but the moment it gets gusty i start second guessing everything. yesterday it was showing around 18-20mph sustained with gusts up to 28 and i just sat in my car for 20 minutes trying to decide whether to go up or not.
ended up flying and it was fine mostly, the mini 3 held position pretty well actually but i was getting some pretty aggressive corrections and the footage had that weird micro jitter that stabilization cant fully fix. came home and looked fine on the small screen then on my monitor it was obvious.
so what's everyone's actual personal cutoff? i know DJI specs say the mini 3 can handle like 10.7 m/s which is roughly 24mph but real world always feels different than the spec sheet. curious if people have rules they actually stick to or if it's more of a vibe check every time you go out.
