ok so background: been on a 5inch freestyle quad for about a year, can do basic rolls and flips no problem, getting comfortable with power loops on a good day. decided to start working on split S because it looks clean and seems like a foundational thing to have locked. the problem is i keep losing track of where im pointed about halfway through, especially if im coming in from an angle thats not perfectly straight. i end up overcorrecting and just sort of... flopping out of it instead of pulling through cleanly.
simulator time hasnt totally fixed it, i can do it fine in liftoff but real world something feels off. not sure if its a throttle timing issue or if i just need more altitude to give myself margin for error. flying a nazgul evoque if that matters. anyone been through this learning curve and have any pointers on how you actually got it dialed?
