Anyone else feel like they're constantly running out of small talk topics?

I went to three different events this week and had the same awkward conversations - "How about this weather?" and "Busy weekend?" I swear I'm becoming a broken record. Does anyone have go-to conversation starters that actually lead somewhere interesting?

I used to be good at this stuff but lately I feel like I'm just cycling through the same five safe topics. Maybe it's just me overthinking it.
