so ive been flying for about a year and a half now, mostly calm days because i get nervous when wind picks up past like 10-12mph. i know thats pretty wimpy but every time i try to push through it i feel like im fighting the sticks the whole time and my footage looks terrible anyway so whats the point
but i want to get better at it. i fly a mavic 3 and i know it can handle way more than im giving it. my brother flies an fpv freestyle setup and he just laughs at me when i land because of a little breeze. anyway does anyone have like an actual method for building up wind tolerance as a pilot or do you just kind of throw yourself into it and figure it out
also curious if theres any specific maneuvers people practice in moderate wind that help you get a feel for how the craft responds. i feel like i dont really understand what the drone is doing when wind hits it from different angles
