my Mavic 3 keeps disconnecting randomly mid flight and i dont know whats going on

this has been bugging me for a while now. started maybe 3 weeks ago out of nowhere. i'll be flying totally fine and then the feed just cuts for like 2-3 seconds and reconnects, sometimes it happens back to back and its honestly terrifying when you're 300 feet up. i haven't changed anything as far as i know, same location i always fly, same controller. thought maybe it was interference but i flew out in the middle of a field last weekend with basically nothing around and it still happened twice. firmware is updated, i checked. running the RC Pro controller. really not sure where to start with this, has anyone dealt with something similar

had almost exactly this happen with my Air 2S a while back and it turned out to be the cache on the RC filling up which sounds dumb but it was genuinely causing weird connection stutters. try clearing the flight cache and also maybe do a full link reset where you unlink and re-pair the controller from scratch. also check if theres any apps running in the background on the controller eating up resources. i know it sounds like basic stuff but those two things fixed mine after i spent two weeks thinking it was a hardware problem

not 100% sure but i wonder if the antenna connections inside the controller could be coming loose? RC Pro has had some reported issues with that from what ive read. might be worth contacting DJI support because if its under warranty they'll usually sort it. their refresh program also covers stuff like this i think, or at least makes repair costs less painful. either way dont keep flying like that, a 2-3 second disconnect at altitude is not something to mess around with
