Sudden signal dropouts at 200m after firmware update - can't isolate the cause

  • Members

I've been dealing with consistent signal dropouts at around 200 meters since updating my Mini 3 Pro firmware last month. Battery levels are fine on both drone and controller, and I've confirmed the firmware update completed properly. Flying in the same open field where I used to get 800m+ range reliably.

The controller is set to auto channel selection on 2.4GHz, which should handle congestion automatically, but I'm wondering if manual channel selection might help. Has anyone experienced similar range reduction after firmware updates? I've heard battery firmware needs updating separately after drone updates - could this be the culprit?
