yeah so this is a little embarassing to post but i dont know where else to ask. failed the first time with like a 68 which i knew was coming because i wasnt really prepared. studied a lot more for the second attempt and still only got a 70. passing is 70 percent right? or is it higher, i might be misremembering. anyway the point is i keep missing something and i cant figure out what. i feel like i know the airspace rules pretty well at this point. the testing center said i can see a breakdown of which categories i missed but i havent gone back yet. not sure if there's a specific resource that covers the stuff people usually get wrong

passing is 70% yeah but that means you need to get exactly 70 right? so a 70 is technically a fail if its 69.something rounded or however they calculate it, i dont actually know the exact math. anyway definitely go get that score breakdown, thats the most important thing you can do right now. theres no point guessing what you got wrong when they literally show you. my guess without knowing anything about your situation is its probably the loading and performance stuff or the aeronautical decision making section, those trip people up because they feel like common sense but the questions are worded weird

dont get discouraged, ive seen people take it 3 or 4 times. the score breakdown is gonna be your best friend here. when i was studying i found that Gleim had the best explanations for why wrong answers are wrong, not just what the right answer is. a lot of people memorize practice test answers without understanding the actual concept and then they get a slightly different question on the real test and blank. also the remote pilot test prep book from ASA is pretty thorough on the stuff thats commonly missed. the wait time between attempts is 14 days i think so you got some time to actually dig into the weak spots
