so ive had my mini 3 pro for about 3 months now and i keep noticing when i let go of the sticks it slowly drifts to the left. not a huge amount but enough that it's annoying especially when im trying to get a still shot. ive calibrated the IMU twice and done the compass calibration every time i go to a new location which is probably overkill but i read somewhere that helps. still doing it though.

im using the RC controller not the phone one if that matters. wind was pretty calm today and it was still drifting maybe like half a meter every 30 seconds or so? i dont know if this is just how these light drones behave or if somethings actually wrong with mine. anyone dealt with this

yeah this drove me crazy too when i first got mine. for what its worth a tiny bit of drift in hover is pretty much expected on any drone this light, theres only so much the optical flow sensor can do especially if youre above like 10-15 feet where it cant really see the ground well anymore. how high were you hovering when you noticed it?

that said if its consistent drift always to the same side it might be worth checking if any of the motors have debris in them, a tiny bit of grass or sand can mess with things more than youd think. i had something similar and just blowing out the motors with compressed air sorted it.

dont over-calibrate the compass thats actually a thing you can do, too many calibrations in different locations can sometimes make it worse. just do it once somewhere away from metal and cars and leave it. ive seen people say do it every flight and honestly i think that caused more problems for me than it solved
