what case are you guys actually using for travel with the mini 4 pro

so i've been going back and forth on this for weeks now and i cant decide. i have the mini 4 pro and i want something i can throw in my backpack when im traveling but also something that'll actually protect it if my bag gets tossed around in overhead bins or whatever. the dji shoulder bag thing looks fine but i dunno if it's worth the price when you can get third party stuff for way less.

been looking at the smatree and also some random one on amazon with like 4000 reviews but honestly the reviews all sound fake to me. does anyone have something they've been using for a while that's actually held up? not looking for a pelican hardcase situation, just something practical for carry-on travel mostly

i went through like three different cases before landing on the torvol quad pitstop backpack and honestly it changed everything. bit overkill maybe for just a mini but i carry other stuff too so it works out. for just the drone and accessories though a lot of people in our local club use the dji's own fly more bag and seem happy with it, nothing fancy but it does the job and everything fits perfectly without having to Tetris your props every time.

the amazon lottery is real tho, i got burned once on a "hard case" that cracked just from being sat on in a car. if you go third party at least check that it has actual foam cutouts for the mini 4 specifically and not just generic foam you have to carve yourself

I just use a regular padded camera insert inside my hiking backpack honestly. Bought it off amazon for like 18 bucks and cut the dividers to fit the drone and a few batteries. not glamorous but its been fine for two years of weekend trips
