DIY race track construction - proper gate spacing for technical sections

Planning a backyard FPV racing track and need guidance on optimal gate spacing for technical elements. The first step in designing a practice track is to choose which element you want to practice and focus on such as ladders, corkscrews, slaloms, etc. I would choose only one or two elements to practice per session depending on how many gates you have. Working with limited space (approximately 50x30 meters) but want to include corkscrews and split-S elements. Keep in mind, the farther apart the gate is from the hurdle, the easier it is. What's the minimum spacing for 5-inch racing quads?
