how do you guys handle clients who want 'just a few more shots' after the job is done

so i wrapped up a real estate shoot last week, delivered the full package, client was happy, done right? nope. two days later she emails asking if i can come back and get a shot of the back fence area because apparently the landscapers came in and it looks nicer now. like i quoted and flew for a specific property walkthrough, edited everything, delivered it. now she wants a whole second visit for free basically.

i dont have anything in my contract that specifically addresses this and i kind of just said sure because i didnt want to lose the referral but it's been bugging me. how do you guys word your scope of work to prevent this? or do you just build in a buffer and accept that some clients will always push a little

yeah this is basically rite of passage stuff for real estate aerial work lol. what i started doing after getting burned a few times is putting in the contract something like "shoot day is X date, all revisions and additional requests received after 48 hours of final delivery are billed at [my hourly rate]." simple as that. most clients dont even push back on it, they just needed to know where the line was.

also honestly for the fence thing i probably wouldve just charged a small revisit fee, like half my normal rate or whatever, and framed it as a convenience thing for her. keeps the relationship warm but you're not just giving away your time. time is the one thing you cant get back doing this stuff.
