mini 4 pro vs air 3 ? anyone actually done a proper side by side?

so ive been going back and forth on this for like three weeks now and i cant make up my mind. currently flying a mini 2 which has been great but im ready to step up. the mini 4 pro seems like the obvious choice since i already know the mini ecosystem and the omnidirectional obstacle avoidance finally makes it worth it for me, but the air 3 keeps catching my eye every time i look at footage comparisons on youtube.

thing is most of those youtube videos feel like sponsored content or the guy clearly already loves one brand and is just going through the motions. has anyone here actually owned both or at least flown both back to back in real conditions? not asking about specs because i can read the dji page myself, more like how do they actually feel to fly, does the air 3 dual camera thing actually matter day to day or is it one of those features you use twice and forget about

my main use is travel and some light real estate stuff so weight does matter to me but not to the point where i'd give up meaningful image quality

had both at the same time for about six weeks earlier this year because i was doing the same thing you are ? trying to figure out which to keep. ended up selling the mini 4 pro actually. for travel the weight thing is genuinely nice but if youre already dealing with real estate clients the air 3 image quality difference is noticeable enough that it matters. the 1/1.3 sensor on the air 3 does real work in mixed lighting situations, like shooting a house interior near a bright window, that kind of thing where the mini 4 pro starts to struggle a bit more.

the dual camera on the air 3 i thought would be gimmicky and honestly for the first few weeks it was, but now i use the medium tele constantly for real estate aerials because it compresses the scene nicely. so yeah it became a thing i actually use. the mini 4 pro is a genuinely great drone though and if weight was my primary concern i'd probably feel differently

im in a similar boat so following this thread. one thing i'll add is that the mini 4 pro fits under 249g which matters depending on where you fly ? some countries and some local parks still have different rules for sub-250 so thats worth factoring in depending on your travel destinations
