this has been bugging me for a couple weeks now. started noticing my footage getting that jello effect and blackbox logs are showing way more noise on the gyro than usual, specifically on roll axis. i've balanced the props like three times now and replaced two of them that had tiny nicks, cleaned everything off and remounted the stack with fresh dampeners.

still there. maybe slightly better but not fixed. motors all spin smooth by hand, no grinding, temps seem okay after a pack. i'm running 2306 motors which have been on there since i built it maybe 8 months ago, about 80 or so packs on them. RPM_filter is on, i've tried adjusting the filtering in betaflight but it just feels like i'm masking something rather than fixing the root cause and i hate that.

at this point i'm wondering if the motors are just worn out internally even though they feel okay. or could it be frame flex from some earlier crash i forgot about. honestly not sure where to go from here

80 packs on 2306s is pretty decent life honestly, especially if you fly aggressively at all. bearings can feel fine to the hand spin test but still be introducing noise under load ? that's kind of a known thing. i'd try swapping one motor at a time with new ones and logging after each swap to see if the noise signature changes. process of elimination basically.

also check your prop shaft interface, sometimes the prop nut gets slightly damaged or the motor threads are stripped just a tiny bit and the prop isn't seated totally concentric even if it looks fine. had that fool me for a while

frame flex is worth checking too, people underestimate how much a slightly cracked arm can introduce vibration. run your finger along all four arms and feel for any give or hairline cracks especially near the motor mount holes. carbon can crack internally without looking obviously broken. if you've had any decent hits in those 8 months there's a real chance something is slightly compromised
