so ive had my mini 3 pro for about 4 months now and overall its been great but lately its been dropping connection mid flight for like 2-3 seconds at a time and then reconnecting. it doesnt crash or anything it just hovers in place which i know is what its supposed to do but its still pretty unsettling when youre 300 feet up and the screen just goes grey.

im using the RC controller, not the phone one. it happens more in some spots than others but i cant really figure out a pattern. i did update the firmware last week and honestly i think it might have gotten worse after that but could just be coincidence. anyone else dealing with this or know what might cause it

this happened to me a lot when i first got mine and it turned out i was flying near a cell tower i hadnt noticed. the interference was just killing the signal every so often. try pulling up a map and checking if theres any obvious RF sources near your usual spots. also check that the antennas on the RC are positioned correctly, horizontal antennas on the controller work better when the drone is above you, a lot of people dont realize the orientation actually matters.

the firmware thing is probably unrelated but you could always roll back if DJI still has the previous version available on their site. ive never bothered rolling back myself but ive seen people say it helped.

same issue here honestly, mines been doing it near parks where theres a lot of wifi networks around. havent found a fix yet but switching to 5.8ghz in the settings helped a little bit for me. dont quote me on that tho im still figuring it out
