what case is everyone using for mini 3 pro travel?

so ive been just throwing my mini 3 in a backpack with the controller and some nd filters loose in a side pocket which i know is terrible but it hasnt broken yet. planning a trip next month and i think i finally need to get something proper before i jinx myself.

been looking at the dji carry more bag but honestly it seems overpriced for what it is, like its literally a shoulder bag with some foam. saw some people using pelican cases with custom cut foam which looks way more protective but then you have to check it at the airport or carry on a massive hard case which seems annoying.

anyone travelling regularly with theirs, whats actually working for you? also do the nd filter sets come with their own little case usually because mine came in a flimsy cardboard thing and two of them are already scratched from rattling around

the lykus titan case is what i ended up with after going through like three different bags. its a hard shell but not as big as a pelican, fits the mini 3 with fly more kit, extra batteries, filters, all of it. goes in overhead bin no problem. the foam cutouts are decent out of the box but i did trim a little with scissors to get my nd set in there properly.

and yeah most nd filter sets that arent garbage tier come in a little zippered pouch or a hard plastic wallet thing. if yours didnt, just grab one of those lens filter wallets off amazon for like 8 bucks, makes a huge difference keeping them from scratching each other.

i just use a regular camera bag from lowepro that i already had from my mirrorless days, cut some extra foam from a craft store to pad it out. works fine honestly and cost me nothing extra. maybe not as clean as a purpose built case but the drone doesnt know the difference lol
