so i took the mini 4 pro out to the coast last weekend, conditions were pretty much perfect, like 8mph winds and golden hour hit just right. ive been flying for about a year now and i feel like this is the first time the footage actually looks like something i'd watch myself lol

dropped it unlisted on youtube if anyone wants to take a look ? mostly just slow orbits around the pier and one low pass along the waterline that came out way better than expected. the color grading is still something im working on, i tend to over saturate and i know it, just cant help myself

anyone else find beach shots are way easier to make look good than like, suburban stuff? i struggle so much when theres no natural leading lines or interesting horizon

watched it, the low pass is genuinely nice. the horizon's straight which sounds basic but you'd be surprised how many people dont bother. the saturation is a bit much in the second half yeah but the first couple clips are actually pretty well balanced. what lut are you using or is that all manual?

beach stuff is definitely easier i think because the contrast between the water and sand just kinda does the work for you. ive tried filming in my neighborhood and it always looks like a real estate video no matter what i do. that pier orbit shot sounds sick, im gonna go watch it now
