ok so ive been using litchi for like two years now mostly for waypoint stuff and panoramas and its been fine but everyone keeps telling me dronelink is way better and i finally tried it last week on my mini 3 pro and honestly im not sure i see the massive difference people keep raving about

like yeah the mission hub on the browser is nice and the conditional actions thing is cool but the interface feels clunky to me compared to litchi which i can just knock out a mission on my phone pretty fast. also noticed dronelink was eating my battery on my phone noticeably faster during the mission which is annoying when youre already managing a bunch of things

anyone else switch over and actually feel like it was worth the learning curve? or am i just not using it right. genuinely asking because i dont want to write it off if theres something im missing

dronelink clicked for me when i started doing more complex stuff like multi-battery missions and having the drone resume exactly where it left off. litchi just cant do that reliably in my experience. if youre doing basic waypoint stuff or orbit shots honestly litchi is probably fine and theres no reason to switch just for the sake of it

the conditional actions are where dronelink really shines though. i have setups where the drone will change gimbal angle based on altitude mid-mission and that kind of logic is just not possible in litchi. but yeah if you dont need that its kind of overkill

the battery drain thing on dronelink is real, i noticed it too. someone in another thread said turning off the map rendering during active flight helps but i havent tested it myself. might be worth trying before you fully give up on it
