so ive been just tossing my mini 3 pro in my backpack with the fly more kit stuff and honestly im surprised nothing has broken yet but i know my luck is running out. been looking at cases but there are SO many options and i cant tell whats actually worth buying vs just looks nice in photos

right now i have the original dji shoulder bag thing that came with the fly more combo and its fine for like driving somewhere but if im hiking or just walking around a city it feels awkward and the zippers are kinda janky already. a friend mentioned pelican but those seem way overkill for a mini 3 unless youre checking it on a plane or something

anyone have a setup they actually use regularly and would recommend? not looking to spend $200 on a case for a $700 drone but also dont want garbage that falls apart

i went through like three different bags before settling on the lekufee backpack for my mini 3 setup. its not fancy but everything fits, the foam cutouts are decent enough and i added some extra foam from a craft store to fill in the gaps around my filters and extra batteries. been using it for about 8 months including one trip where it got rained on pretty hard and everything was fine inside

for actual hard cases if you ever do need to fly somewhere, the nanuk 910 is way more reasonable than pelican pricewise and the foam is easier to cut yourself. but honestly for day trips the backpack style is just way more practical, you can actually walk around without feeling like a weirdo carrying a briefcase

same boat as you, just grabbed a random hard case off amazon for like 40 bucks and so far so good. fits the drone, two batteries, the controller, and my nd filters with a little room left. probably wouldnt trust it for checked luggage but for tossing in a car or hiking it seems fine. the foam that came in it was a little thin so i did put some extra padding around the drone itself just in case
