okay so ive been flying whoops and tiny hawks for like a year and a half and i finally decided to just commit and build a proper 5inch freestyle quad. ive done a ton of research but the more i read the more confused i get about matching motors to ESCs, like everyone has an opinion and half of them contradict each other.
im looking at the Speedybee F405 stack which seems pretty popular right now and for motors i was going to go with either the T-Motor F60 Pro IV 1750kv or maybe the Brotherhobby Tornado T2 2306 2450kv. frame is probably gonna be the Apex or maybe a TBS Source One since its cheap enough that i wont cry if i bin it.
my main question is ? is the 45A ESC in that stack gonna be fine with 1750kv on 6S or should i be looking at something beefier? i keep seeing people say you should always have headroom on the ESC but then other people say 45A is plenty for 5inch freestyle. also not sure if i should even bother with 6S at this point or just do 4S and keep it simpler while im still learning the build process
