so i just took my part 107 test yesterday and bombed it. got a 68% and needed 70. really thought i was ready since i was doing ok on the practice tests online but man the real test was way harder than expected

the weather questions killed me and those sectional chart ones were confusing as hell. different airports than what i practiced with and the wording was all twisted up. now i gotta wait 14 days and pay another 175 bucks

anyone else been through this? what did you do different the second time around. feeling pretty discouraged right now and wondering if i should just give up on the whole commercial thing

hey dont give up man. failed mine first time too with like a 69 or something. was so mad lol. but the second time i focused way more on weather stuff and really drilled those sectional charts with the actual faa supplement they give you

also found out my practice tests were kinda outdated and missing some of the newer remote id questions. spent more time with the real faa study materials instead of just youtube videos. passed with an 81 the second time

dude this happened to me too. i was getting like 85% on all my practice stuff but then the real test was completely different. i think the problem was i memorized too many answers instead of actually understanding why things work the way they do

what helped me was going through every single question i missed on the report they give you and really learning that topic inside and out. also density altitude was huge for me - spent like 2 hours just on that concept alone. you got this just gotta approach it different
