so ive been going back and forth on this for weeks now. basically need something for travel photography and some casual video stuff. the mini 3 pro seems like the obvious choice because of size but then i keep reading about how much better the air 2s camera is

budget isnt really the issue here, more about what im actually gonna end up using. anyone made this choice recently? the mini seems like id actually bring it places but wondering if ill regret not getting the better camera quality

had the same dilemma last year and went with the mini 3 pro. honestly dont regret it at all - the portability factor is huge. yeah the air 2s probably has slightly better image quality but the mini 3 pro is still really good and you'll actually want to pack it. ive taken mine on like 6 trips this year already

only thing i miss is maybe some of the tracking modes but for travel photography the mini does everything i need

depends what you mean by travel photography though. if youre doing serious landscape work or client stuff the air 2s is definitly better. larger sensor makes a real difference especially in lower light

but if its more casual instagram type stuff the mini 3 pro is perfect. i have both and honestly the mini stays in my bag way more often
