so i keep seeing posts about some monthly drone meetup but cant find any actual details anywhere. is this still a thing or did it die out during covid? i moved here like 6 months ago and would love to get out and fly with some other people instead of just me and my air 2s at the same boring field every weekend

yeah the monthly thing kinda fell apart when jim stopped organizing it but theres been talk about starting it back up. few of us have been meeting at riverside park most saturdays around 10am nothing official just whoever shows up. you should come by this weekend if the weathers decent

Oh cool I didnt know about the saturday thing either. Im pretty new to this whole hobby but have been flying my mini 2 for a couple months now and would love to see what other people are flying and maybe pick up some tips. Is riverside park that one off highway 6 with the big open field?
