been flying my mini 3 pro for about 8 months now and its been solid but im starting to feel limited by the sensor size especially for video work. the evo lite+ has that 1 inch sensor which looks tempting but ive heard mixed things about autel's software and reliability

anyone here switch from dji to autel recently? how was the transition and do you miss anything from the dji ecosystem? mostly concerned about how well the obstacle avoidance works compared to what im used to

Made that exact switch last year actually. The evo lite+ image quality is noticeably better especially in lower light situations, that 1 inch sensor really does make a difference. Software took some getting used to - its not as polished as dji fly but once you learn it its fine

obstacle avoidance isnt quite as good as the mini 3 pro in my experience, particularly the side sensors seem less reliable. But the battery life is better and i love having the dual cameras. Overall happy with the switch but there was definitely a learning curve

honestly i went the other way - had an evo nano+ for a while and ended up selling it for a mini 3. the autel app kept crashing on my phone and customer support was pretty slow when i had issues. image quality was good when it worked but reliability matters more to me than slightly better specs on paper
