so ive been having this weird issue where my mini 2 just disconnects around 200-250ft out, doesnt matter which direction. signal bars look fine up until it just drops completely and i have to hit RTH. flying in pretty open areas too, not like im in downtown or anything. anyone else seen this before? starting to think its the controller but not sure how to test it

check your phone first - sounds stupid but ive seen this exact thing happen when the usb cable was going bad. also make sure youre not running any other apps that might interfere, bluetooth stuff can mess with it sometimes

200ft sounds about right for interference issues. you mentioned open areas but are there any cell towers or radio stations nearby? even if theyre not super close they can still cause problems. also worth checking if its happening at the same time of day, sometimes the 2.4ghz band gets congested during peak hours when everyones using wifi
