so i had a pretty hard landing last week and ever since then my gimbal has been doing this thing where it slowly drifts to one side even when the drone is perfectly level. ive tried recalibrating it like 5 times through the app but it keeps happening. the weird part is it only does it when im flying not when its just sitting on the ground

anyone dealt with something like this before? wondering if something got knocked loose inside or if theres some setting im missing. using a mini 3 pro btw

had the exact same issue with my air 2s after i clipped a tree branch. turned out the gimbal ribbon cable got partially disconnected - you cant see it without taking the gimbal cover off but its worth checking. also try doing the calibration on a completely flat surface and make sure your firmware is up to date. sometimes a factory reset helps too but youll lose all your settings

Yeah this happened to my buddy's mavic and it was the gimbal motor itself that got damaged. if the calibration isnt fixing it then something is probably physically wrong. might need to send it in for repair unfortunately. how hard was the crash? did the gimbal hit the ground directly
