close call at cell tower site yesterday

so im doing an inspection on this 180ft tower and everything was going fine until about halfway up when i started getting crazy interference. signal was cutting in and out and the gimbal started twitching like mad

managed to bring it down but it was sketchy for a minute there. site manager said they had some new equipment installed last week but didnt think to mention it before we started. anyone else run into issues with newer 5G gear interfering with control signals? this was with my mini 3 pro btw

yeah 5G stuff can be brutal depending on the frequencies theyre using. we always ask for a full equipment manifest before flying tower sites now after getting burned a couple times. some of the mmwave stuff operates right in the range that can mess with our control links
