so i've been flying my mini 2 for about a year now and really love it but thinking about upgrading to something with better camera quality. been looking at the autel options since everyone says dji this dji that and i want to try something different you know

main thing is i do alot of real estate photography on weekends for extra cash and the mini 2 is starting to feel limiting especially in lower light. the nano+ looks interesting because its still compact but not sure if the camera is actually that much better than what i have. the lite+ obviously has better specs but its way bigger and heavier

anyone made a similar jump from dji to autel? is the learning curve steep or pretty similar controls wise

i went from mavic air 2 to evo lite+ last year and honestly dont regret it at all. the camera is noticeably better especially for real estate work like you mentioned. low light performance is where you'll really see the difference

learning curve wasnt bad, autel sky app is pretty intuitive if youre used to dji fly. only thing that took getting used to was the controller layout being slightly different but after a few flights felt natural

one heads up though - make sure you factor in accessory costs. autel stuff is generally more expensive than dji equivalents and theres less third party options

nano+ is definitely not worth it if you already have mini 2 imo. the improvement isnt significant enough to justify the cost unless you really want to get away from dji ecosystem

lite+ is where its at if youre serious about real estate photography. 1 inch sensor makes a huge difference but yeah its bigger and you lose that ultraportable convenience of the mini series
