so i've been studying for like 3 weeks now using the remote pilot test prep app and some youtube videos but honestly this stuff is way more complicated than i thought it would be. the sectional charts are confusing me the most and all the airspace stuff. did anyone else feel overwhelmed when they first started studying or am i just not cut out for this? thinking about scheduling my test but kinda nervous

yeah the sectionals threw me off too at first. honestly the best thing i did was print out a few charts and just stare at them for hours until it clicked. also that sporty's course helped me more than the free stuff online even though it costs money. took me about 2 months of studying but passed with an 87. dont rush it if your not ready

omg yes the airspace rules are insane. I failed my first attempt because I got confused about class b vs class c requirements. ended up buying the king schools course after that and it was so much better at explaining everything. the practice tests in there are really similar to the real thing too. definitely worth the investment if you want to pass on your second try like me
