Been putting this off for months but finally ready to get my part 107. Problem is there's like a million different study materials out there and everyone says something different about what's important. Some people say focus on weather, others say sectional charts are the most important. I dont want to waste time studying stuff that wont even be on the test. Anyone who passed recently remember what the exam actually focused on?

took mine last month and honestly it was pretty balanced. maybe 30% sectional chart stuff, 25% weather, 20% regulations and the rest was random stuff like aircraft performance and airspace. the weather questions were mostly about reading metars and understanding cloud types. definitely study the sectionals though because those questions can be tricky if you dont practice

ive heard the test changes pretty regularly so what someone got 6 months ago might be different now. but from what i remember when i was studying the faa puts out like a study guide or something that tells you exactly what topics are covered. might want to check that out first before buying any expensive courses
