well this is just great. tried updating firmware on my mini 3 pro this morning using dji assistant 2 and now the thing wont even power on. was working perfectly fine yesterday, flew for like an hour no issues

the update seemed to go normally, said it completed successfully but when i disconnected it from usb nothing. no lights, no response to power button, completely dead. battery was at 80% when i started the update

has anyone recovered from something like this or am i looking at a warranty claim

ouch that sucks man. before you panic try a different battery if you have one, sometimes the firmware update process can mess with the battery calibration and it thinks its dead when its not

also try holding the power button for like 15-20 seconds, ive seen that reset some weird states before. if that doesnt work yeah probably warranty time

this is exactly why i never update firmware unless theres a specific issue im trying to fix. if it aint broke dont fix it you know? dji firmware updates are notorious for introducing new problems

that said i think dji will replace it under warranty if you explain what happened, theyve been pretty good about firmware update failures in my experience
