Ive been flying my mini 2 for about a year now and really want to get into fpv stuff. mostly interested in flying around my house and maybe some tight outdoor spots, not really looking to do crazy acro or anything like that yet. the fpv seems more powerful but the avata looks way more durable and forgiving for learning. price difference isnt huge so thats not really a factor. what would you guys recommend for someone whos comfortable with regular drone flying but totally new to fpv

avata 100%. the fpv is honestly overkill for what you want to do and way more fragile. i crashed my avata probably 20 times learning and it just bounced off walls and kept going. the turtle mode is a lifesaver too when you flip it upside down. fpv hits way harder and you'll be replacing parts constantly as a beginner

gonna disagree a bit here... if you're already comfortable with drone flying the fpv isn't that much harder to handle. yeah its faster but you dont have to use all that speed. the image quality is noticeably better and you get more customization options. that said for indoor flying the avata probably makes more sense just because of the size and prop guards. maybe rent or borrow both for a weekend if you can?
