thinking about setting up some gates in the backyard to practice but most of the stuff i see online is either crazy expensive or looks like it'll fall over in a light breeze. was looking at pvc but not sure about the joints

anyone have plans or ideas that actually work? need something that can handle a few crashes without breaking the bank. saw some guy using pool noodles but that seems kinda janky

pvc works great actually, just use the right fittings. i made like 8 gates for under 100 bucks and theyve held up for 2 years now. key is using the slip fittings instead of threaded ones and making the base wide enough. can send you pics if you want

honestly the pool noodle thing isnt that bad for starting out. i mean yeah it looks weird but if you crash into them they dont break your quad and thats the main thing. once you get better you can upgrade to proper gates
