been flying my air 3 for about 6 months now and finally ready to invest in some proper ND filters. There's so many options though - polar pro, freewell, k&f concept, even some cheaper brands on amazon. I mostly do landscape stuff and some video work for local businesses. Don't want to spend a fortune but also dont want garbage that affects image quality. What are you all using and how much difference does it actually make? Also is the variable ND worth it or should i just get a fixed set

polar pro all the way. yeah they're more expensive but the difference in video quality is night and day especially if you're doing client work. i tried the cheaper amazon ones first and they had this weird color cast that was a pain to correct in post. get the cinema series if you can swing it

honestly for most people freewell is the sweet spot between price and quality. I've been using their all day set for over a year and can't complain. The variable ones are convenient but i find them a bit finicky - sometimes they get stuck or dont rotate smoothly. if you're just starting out with filters maybe get a basic 3-pack with nd8, nd16, nd32 and see how much you actually use them before going all in on expensive stuff
