so i had a little mishap last week flying near some trees and my air 2 took a tumble. nothing major just clipped a branch and went down maybe 8 feet onto grass. drone looks fine externally but now the gimbal keeps doing this weird twitching thing when i start it up. sometimes it calibrates fine and other times it just keeps shaking back and forth for like 30 seconds before settling down. anyone else deal with this before? is it something i can fix myself or do i need to send it in

ive seen this a few times on the fb groups. usually means something got knocked loose inside the gimbal assembly. you can try a manual gimbal calibration through the app but if that doesnt work its probably gonna need service. dji repair isnt too expensive for gimbal issues but might take a couple weeks

Had the exact same thing happen to my mini 2 after it hit a fence. The ribbon cable that connects the gimbal motor got partially disconnected. If you're handy with small electronics you can open it up and reseat the connection but honestly i just sent mine to dji and it was back in 10 days working perfectly. Cost me about 120 bucks i think
