so ive been running an inspire 1 with x5 for about 2 years now doing mostly wedding work and some real estate stuff. its been solid but im wondering if anyone here made the jump to inspire 2 and whether its actually worth it for the kind of work im doing

main thing that bugs me about the 1 is the battery life and sometimes the gimbal acts up when its windy. heard the 2 handles better in wind but dont want to drop that much cash if its not gonna make a real difference in my final product. most of my clients cant tell the difference between 4k and 1080 anyway lol

made the switch last year and honestly the dual battery setup on the inspire 2 alone is worth it. you get way more flight time and the hot swappable thing is clutch when youre doing back to back ceremonies. wind performance is definitely better too, had mine out in some pretty sketchy conditions

the x7 camera is nice but probably overkill for wedding work unless your charging premium rates. x5s might be the sweet spot

if your inspire 1 is working fine id probably wait. the 2 is nice but the price difference is huge and like you said most wedding clients arent pixel peeping. i know guys still crushing it with mavic 2 pros for weddings

maybe put that money towards better lenses or lighting gear instead? just my 2 cents
